When work is just work

From my own personal experience I find it hard to separate work and personal life a lot of the times. I spend most of my time working, eating, and sleeping. If I am motivated and have spare time I exercise, socialize and do things that I enjoy such as singing, writing, spending time with children, watching movies etc.

As humans we are all trying to get our needs met. I myself must remember that work is a place to make money and nothing else. Work is not a place to make friends, socialize, find a boyfriend, have fun, and get my unmet childhood needs met. All these other needs I need to get met in order to live a happy and well balanced life must be met outside of work which means time management on my part. I am still learning to create healthy boundaries with myself and others to keep me safe. Havimg healthy boundaries also makes life easier, more peaceful, and helps to build healthy relationships at the of the day.

There all types of boundaries including emotional, social, mental, physical, and
psychological boundaries. It is my responsibility to create and maintain my own boundaries and respect others peoples boundaries at the same time.

There is always learning in life for me whether it is a positive or negative experience. A positive attitude, resilience, and perseverance makes facing life easier. Fun, laughter, and love are just as important as making money and being responsibly. It's always about balance at the end of the day. I have also learned that I am only responsible for my own happiness and health. I must always take care of myself and help myself first before others. Neglecting myself would be a step backwards and will not help me achieve my life long dream of getting married and starting a family.
